About our guest

Mary Lai is a Los Angeles based visual artist & designer with a B.F.A. in Graphic Design.  She creates vibrant contemporary artwork and has collaborated with brands like Vayner Media & St. Judes, exhibited during Art Basel Miami and had shows in NYC, LA and Seoul.

Her aesthetic is inspired by her young kids and pop culture and her work spans across original paintings, mixed media, murals and installation, and she actively creates and speaks on the topics of the metaverse and NFT’s..

Prior to becoming a full time artist, Mary spent over a decade in NYC as a fashion accessories designer, creating an award-winning namesake handbag collection and winner of HBO Max’s Craftopia.

She believes that every skill that one learns can be applied to the next project and her fashion accessories background reflects in her artwork.
